What does it mean to be baptized?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward commitment. It is a public profession of one’s faith. We believe in baptism by immersion in water by one who has already received Jesus Christ into their heart by faith. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Saviour, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Jesus Christ. If you are interested in taking this step in your faith journey, you can contact the church office for further information at 770-967-5529 or email us.
I'm new to Celebration and want to know more about the church, what do I do?
We periodically have new member meetings. We would love for you to join us for lunch in the food court for an informal gathering.
What is the difference between Baby Dedication and Infant Baptism?
At Celebration Church, we believe that baptism is something done only after the person has made a conscious choice themselves to accept Jesus Christ as Savior. However, we recognize the importance of making a commitment to raise your child in a Christian manner. We designed Baby Dedication as a way for parents to publicly profess their intent to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Please contact the church office at 770-967-5529 or email us if you are interested in having your baby dedicated.
