  • Certificate of Immunization Form 3231
  • Vision, Hearing and Dental Form 3300

When determining admittance age requirements of kindergarten, we follow the state of Georgia guidelines: "a child must be 5 years old on or before September 1 to enter Kindergarten."

Uniform Policy

There is a uniform policy for all elementary school children. Students need to wear khaki or navy slacks, skirts, shorts or jumpers. They may wear short or long sleeve navy, light blue, red, white or pink collard shirts and must wear closed toed shoes. On a designated day each week, children may wear Celebration Academy t-shirts with denim. T-shirts will be provided by the school at open house.

Learning Objectives

We base our learning objectives on the Georgia Standards, which are the educational objectives laid out by the state of Georgia for all individual grade levels and subject areas.

Science K

Purposeful Design is the supplemental Science curriculum that is used alongside the Georgia Science standards. The curriculum focuses on God's plan and purpose within this world. Some topics that will be covered are...lifecycle of animals, stars, the moon, sources of heat, electricity, energy and much more.

Social Studies K

The curriculum for Social Studies is based on the Georgia Standards. Some topics that will be covered are our great state of Georgia, Native Americans, America's journey, Economics, community helpers and landforms.

Math K

We will use Saxon Math for our curriculum. This is an excellent program that allows children to learn math concepts using manipulatives.

Language Arts K

Our language arts program will include the following subjects: reading, creative writing, phonics and spelling. You will be asked to read with your child for at least 15 minutes every day. Reading will be a major part of your child's homework each night. We will use Saxon Phonics and Spelling for our curriculum. Our creative writing program is through Kid Writing, which is highly successful approach to early literacy.

Bible K

The Bible curriculum is by ACSI. Throughout the year we will be learning about people like: Moses, Joshua, Daniel, Job, Esther, Elijah, Jesus, Ruth and David. The students will be required to memorize one verse per week. We will try to review all the verses as we move through the year to insure that the students remember the verses. Psalm 119:11 states "I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you". We want to the students to truly hide god's word in their heart so that they can be what God has called them to be.

Discipline Plan

Students will be praised for appropriate behaviors. This means we will concentrate on a child's good behavior. Basic rules will be posted and followed. When a rule is broken, a logical consequence will occur.
